A Note to Clients: How I’m Working Through Orders
I want to share a little update about the studio & your orders. I know waiting for your flowers can feel long, & I’m so grateful for your patience.
Why Timelines Have Been Slower
Over the past couple of years, I’ve taken on more orders than I could comfortably manage. Life has been full - personal loss, pregnancy, caring for a baby & energetic young boy, & running the studio. Alongside that, I’ve sometimes prioritised work over rest & self-care, which has contributed to delays.
Over half of current commissions now include multiple frames or additional items. Often this isn’t fully known at the point of booking, which makes it harder to accurately forecast workload alongside taking on new orders. Naturally, multi-piece commissions take significantly more time to complete, & that has had an impact on overall timelines.
Communication & Updates
I know communication hasn’t always been as frequent as it should be. I’ve often focused my time on carefully progressing orders rather than sending pre-emptive updates, & anxiety around my inbox has sometimes made opening it feel overwhelming.
I have admin help from Maddy, but even with her support, it’s still more than the two of us can manage, & there’s a small backlog of emails. Please know that every order is moving forward and progress is being made on the queue.
Support & Changes in the Studio
I also have support in the studio with pressing, alongside occasional help from my sister Hollie. However, I personally handle all designing, arranging, & final framing, as these are the parts that matter most to me & hopefully also to my clients. I’ve also taken on fewer commissions so I can focus on completing each piece properly, while making space for workshops, creative projects, & looking after my own health.

Your flowers are safe & are being worked on with care. I’m committed to completing each piece with attention to every detail, & progress continues steadily through the queue.
